What does the economy look like from where you stand?
At Rethinking Economics India Network (REIN), we believe that economics is not just about numbers, theories and policies. It is also about the realities people experience every day through the work we do, the opportunities available to us, the costs we carry, and the choices we are able (or unable) to make.
That’s why we are creating an Archive of Lived Realities: a space to listen to and document the ways economic systems shape our daily lives.
Your story could be about work, education, migration, access to opportunities, or any other part of everyday life where economics becomes personal to you. By bringing these stories together, we hope to build a richer understanding of what economic life looks like in India: one that makes room for experiences and perspectives that are often missing from conventional economic conversations.
