Development Economics

This field studies the economics of the developing and the developed world. It entails economic theory, econometric methods, sociology, anthropology, political science, biology and demographic studies. This branch of economics explains how the process of economic growth occurs, and how – or whether – that delivers improved well-being for the people. It aims to explore the relationship between economic growth, poverty, inequality, sustainability and human development.
